Today in the readings we hear a cry from the wilderness, a cry to make ready for the way of the Lord, to be prepared. That’s what Advent is all about, a time of preparation.
One of the questions we need to ask ourselves is how have we prepared ourselves? How are we different from a week ago? What activities have we started in our lives that help us to prepare for the coming of Christ - not just to get ready to celebrate Christmas - but to celebrate the coming of Christ.
