What's Important in Your Life? - 4 Aug 13
Fr Steve Voyt
Today in the Gospel Jesus asks a simple question, "Who are you?" Who do you say you are is important because it's your identity.
In the Gospel Jesus challenges us to look at what we value. What do we hold as important in our lives? You can usually figure that out with a simple question, "What do you spend most of your time on?"
In this homily Father Steve emphasizes that we will be held accountable for what we did or didn't do with the blessings we were given. While money isn't evil, it should be used wisely. In our lives it's friendships and family that needs to be valued and lifted up.
Father Steve asks you to consider what's important in your life and is it what God considers important.
