As Lent comes towards us we start thinking of Lenten resolutions. The problem is that resolutions always weaken. What we need is a form of motivation and resolution that doesn’t fail and the best form of motivation is gratitude. There is always a reason to be grateful. We need to cultivate the habit of gratitude. Fr. McTeigue tells you how in this powerful homily.
