Why Doesn't God Answer My Prayers? - 14 Aug 11

Today in the Gospel we get a little bit of a challenge. We've been taught to pray. We understand that God listens to us and answers our prayers. But what happens when the initial response we get is "No" or that it appears to us God doesn't care about our requests. How do we respond? How in turn do we renew our relationship with God, renew our requests or prayers. Many times our prayers are answered but the answer is something we don't want to hear. This is part of the challenge of faith and our growth in faith.
